large fresh strawberries, chopped

tequila
▢
½
ounce
orange liqueur

ounce
lime juice
▢

agave
to taste

Ice cubes

lime wedge to rim glass

sea salt and/or sugar to rim glass

additional strawberries for garnish

Instructions
Rim a margarita glass by running a lime wedge around the edge then dipping it in a shallow plate of sea salt, sugar or a mix of both. Add ice cubes.
Muddle the chopped strawberries in the bottom of the shaker until liquified.
Add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, agave and ice to the shaker. Shake until blended and fully chilled, about 15 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish with a whole strawberry.
Notes
Use fully ripe sweet strawberries for the best flavor.
